A short walk of less than 10 minutes via a tarmac footpath and suspension bridge takes you to the centre of the village. You will find plenty of places to eat and drink with something to suit most tastes and budget. If you need any extra outdoor kit there is a wealth of shops offering expert advice for that “must have” kit. If you want to take a memory of your holiday back home there are two galleries in the village as well other gift shops. To make your catering on holiday as easy as possible, there are a couple of convenience stores in the village or a small supermarket in Llanrwst with a choice of butchers too. Within walking distance is Zipworld Fforest Coaster - a toboggan ride through the forest. A short drive takes you to Penmachno the home of Go Below with a range of trips involving mine exploration, abseiling, traverses and a leap of faith. This is a great way to avoid those rainy days.
